Farooq Sattar backs Mushahid Hussain’s Senate bid

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar expressed his support to independent candidate Mushahid Hussain Syed for the Senate election.
Syed Mushahid Hussain is a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate who is competing as independent due to the Supreme Court disqualification decision of Nawaz Sharif.
Sattar jokingly said, “We are not supporting him to get Chinese visas as he is overseeing CPEC”.
Sattar wants Syed Mushahid Hussain to listen to MQM observations on CPEC.
Keeping with the light-hearted banter during the entire news conference, Sattar said it was possible that Syed might join MQM-P after winning the election.
