Playing games is part of curriculum in this Chinese school

JINAN: Lanxiang technical school, an institute located in Jinan city of Eastern China, is unique for training students to play video games.
In a three-year course, students master the art of playing video games, as they seek coaching for eSports – a readily growing area.
According to research, 260 million people are already involved in eSport games in some way or another.
At Lanxiang, students focus on improving their skills in some of the most popular eSport games, such as League of Legends, Counter Strike and various others.
“This was a hobby for me, I was really into playing video games, and it’s a new industry, I think there are good prospects in it,” says Teng Xin, a student who says he racks up at least 20 hours game time a week.
Langxiang’s tuition fee ranges from 13,000 yuan onwards. It also plans on to train 1000 eSport students in the coming future.
