Japanese Court has freeze Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) Tokyo bank accounts due to non serious attitude regarding final settlement to its permanent Japanese local employees.
According to the details, a Japanese court has ordered to freeze all PIA bank accounts in Tokyo due to non serious attitude regarding the final settlement to Japanese employees and pending refund of air tickets payments, etc.
Baaghi TV has learnt from reliable sources that the national flag carrier of Pakistan has closed its office in Japan and wanted to escape from the country without properly settling the entire issue.
As a next step, the Japanese Court of Law will stop PIA’s Country Manager to exit from Japan. Furthermore, the Pakistan Embassy in Japan will be contacted through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan to take up the issue with the Government of Pakistan.
On October 17, 2021, a PIA Boeing 777-200 aircraft taxiing for departure entered taxiway Q without clearance and taxied past the hold short line onto the protected area of active Runway 23 at Toronto Airport. The PIA management should take stern action against such employees who fail to perform their duties effectively which, at later stages, creates a negative brand image of the airline as well as of the country.
Such acts should be condemned specially when PIA is struggling through an extremely distressful time period with the EASA ban looming over the neck of the carrier as a sharp knife.
The aviation industry has been among the worst hit by the outbreak, which has dented travel demand and forced major airlines to lay off staff and seek government bailouts. PIA management should take immediate action against such employees who are not only fulfilling their duties responsibly, rather being a disgrace for the entire nation.
