Bushra’s ex-husband Khawar Maneka has been embroiled in a controversial case involving the transfer of a district police officer. The officer claims he was transferred after he refused to apologise for stopping Maneka’s car and refusing to apologise. The Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has summoned Maneka to a hearing on Monday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered an inquiry into the matter from the Punjab Chief Minister but has subsequently distanced himself from the case.
