Abid Sher Ali rejects Imran’s ‘bribery’ claim in Lodhran by-election

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali has on Thursday rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s claim that the opponents had used ‘bribery’ for winning the by-election in Lodhran’s NA-154.
Talking to media at Judicial Complex, Abid Sher Ali said that the people had only displayed their anger towards the chaos that Imran Khan has spread throughout the country through his politics.
He added that Imran Khan had no right to talk about corruption with someone like Jahangir Tareen, ‘who ate farmers’ funds in 1998 for his own lands’, standing by his side.
Imran Khan had claimed earlier today while talking to media after appearing before Anti-Terror Court that the opponents had used ‘bribery’ for winning the by-election in Lodhran. He had also commended Jahangir Tareen’s son Ali Tareen for having run a ‘successful’ campaign in Lodhran.
